The 3DToolBox
The 3DToolBox is a comprehensive library of 3D blocks of materials and equipment used in the Electric Utility industry. It is the goal of The 3D Utility to become a significant supplier of quality Substation, Transmission and Distribution 3D blocks for that industry. And, in doing so, to further design based on the 3D approach in order to construct facilities that are more economical, more dependable and, above all else, safer to operate.
No expensive software is required, no long term training curve. If you use AutoCAD and you can draw a substation in 2D, you can design it in 3D! Leverage your existing investment in AutoCAD into the new way to look at your world!
